WHATS NEXT??
I will start bring my information, and data I collected to some organizations that I converse with outside of school with my job. My job works around youth taking force, and making action and this can be the next step for my job. Trying to set up focus groups with families that aren’t tight to build there family bond, or start having more family bonding trips to bring families more closer, and get more of the youth off the streets.Maybe next year for the 08 class, they can take our answers to our research question, and start making plans to take some action, because many of the juniors at BCLA are very good with coming up with great ideas.
I’ve learned so much throughout this process, and met new people, and learned about different organizations. This project will be something I brag about for the rest of my life, and in the end I’m glad my humanities teacher gave us this project. BCLA students wouldn’t be put through all these big assignments and tons of stress if any of the teachers didn’t believe in us, and think that we can do it.
