The nature of my problem I plan to study is basically revolves around the gang life and home life. Lately in Boston mostly in the areas of Roxbury, Mattapan, Dorchester, and even Hyde Park, young males are dying because of the gang they are in, or are friends with someone who are involved with a gang. I feel this is an important and serious problem that needs to be addressed, because being in a gang your risking you’re life.

When your life at home isn’t going well, you’ve lost a close family member, or you don’t have that connection with your parents, or maybe you’re suffering from the lack of having a father figure in your life you can’t function. If teenagers aren’t getting attention at home, and their stressing their only other resort is to go to the streets, where they know their gang members will give them that attention that they need.
I think a lot of females, mostly young males, suffer from that lack of relationship skills with their parent.

This research is necessary, particularly by youth because their needs to be a change with society, and home life, a relationship with parents and their children, if there’s no change more and more males will be dying because there is only place to turn to is the gang life. Gangs are becoming the young male’s first priority, not attending school, nor  work, and not coming home in the night, because their too busy focusing on hanging on the corner with there gang members.
