When I first decided to choose, who I would use as my interviewees it took me a long time to choose someone to interview, because there were many people that I could interview.  Then I thought why not a Black male. I choose my boyfriend, because in the society of today many would say that black males have a low rate of graduating, and this was something that I feel is though is something that sad, but I had also, believed that as well.  By me doing this interview my eyes were opened wider then when I started the interview.

Markus, who is the person I interview, has powerful responses to the questions that I asked him, which in a way shocked me, because I didn’t expect him to respond so well and deep. He had attended North Cambridge Catholic High School, and had great to say about education. He then compared his own education to his friend's education in Public schools.  Being a black male society tends to think that you don't care about education. He proved is not the case. "Education is Knowledge, and without education you can't get anywhere," is what Markus had to say about education when I asked him about it. This was something that I thought he wouldn't say, because I had placed this stereotype upon him that society has already on him and this was wrong of me
