How are such PAR studies organized? What is most important to know about it and who does it? What are the goals of PAR?

PAR is the participatory action research method that I used to research my question. This method is used to collect data and to take action within the problem. PAR is very important for any type of research because it is lets you be involved in the solution of your problem.   People may get confused in the two types of methods; participatory action research and traditional research PAR; you are the insider that actually does the action with more data collection. It becomes your responsibility to do all of the work to get the solution and make a big change towards the issue. In attempting to get the information needed, PAR may seem like its any work being done but it is actually getting the "right" information needed to get the "right" answers. All of this results to "me" being an "activist."   Being an activist is important because the opportunity to get involved with the issues going regarding the youth and making a change by organization.

Traditional research is outside experts' research on their particular topic; people who are suppose to know the most about the research but actually know the people or have actual experience with the research. Contrary to what happens in PAR, traditional research affects that researcher. The goal of traditional research is to simply get knowledge on the research because of what is already planted in your head.  It's a method that focuses on: background studies, collecting data and analysis (basically old studies) which is useful. In the long run, having recent studies will always help in the process of making a change when used correctly.
