My name is Arlene A. Sanchez and I am a senior at Boston Community Leadership Academy in Brighton, MA. As a senior requirement to make my voice heard beyond my small school community and the walls of BCLA, I have written this research paper with hopes that I alter various misconceptions of the gap in educational opportunities for public school students in Boston, MA as opposed to those of suburban school students. As you embark on your journey to read and recognize the problem and solution I have set forth, I hope you take into consideration my attempts to make a conclusive proposal and drive forward reasons why this problem may need urgent attention.
